Mogadishu — Sheik Muse Abdi Arale, the secretary of Hisbul Islam organization has said on Sunday that their bases in parts of the capital were attacked by the government soldiers backing by AMISOM troops.
The secretary said that the fighting started around Sinai intersection until Km4 as the government soldiers backing by AMISOM attacked their positions in Mogadishu adding that they had inflicted more casualties including deaths and injures.
Sheik Muse Abdi Arale told Shabelle radio that the parliamentarians’ approval of imposing state of emergent to the country is meant for plans to attack the positions of the Islamist forces in the capital.
On the other hand, Sheik Abdirisak Mohamed Qeyloy, the spokesman of Darawish troops of the transitional government has denied the statement of the Islamic organization of Hisbul Islam pointing out that the other side of the fighting had attacked their bases adding that they met with a great problem in the clashes.
The statement of both the Islamic organization Hisbul Islam and the government come as heavy fighting between both sides happened last night in Mogadishu which killed 5 and wounded 17 others.
